New Colgems Files Posted

Dear Members:
If you have been following the saga of the Colgems tracks that I have been
uploading, you know that I have spread these numerous tracks over a number of my Yahoo groups for all
to enjoy.

I have reached the point where all these groups are now full, and I don't know
where to put these files anymore. I don't want to open up another group, but I might have to
in the future.

For now, I have uploaded a number of Colgems singles and album tracks for this
month's entry. Some I have posted before, others I have not.

You can find these tracks at the Alternative Top 40 group (http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/AlternativeTop40/) and in the Theme With No Name group (http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/themewithnoname/).

Where I am going to put what I have next month is anyone's guess--I will probably
delete some files, so get these rare tunes while you can.

Colgems Songs Posted

Just to whet your appetite for some new tunes, I have uploaded two Colgems songs to my Alternative Top 40-Comedy site.

The first is not very rare. It's "Laugh" by the Monkees, which can readily be found on one of the biggest selling LPs of all time, "More of the Monkees."

The second one is quite a bit more obscure. Impressionist Rich Little recorded a one-off single for Colgems, and I have posted the 45's B side, "Did I Ever Really Live."

Enjoy, and there is always more coming!

Colgems Quiet Time

Yes, it has been real quiet here. I tried to get something started with the previous post, but it didn't work.

Yeah, I know, it's the summer, people have better things to do.

I will try to get something going when I upload this month's Colgems release.

What will it be? I don't know at this point, but you will be able to grab it on or around Sept. 15.
