Happy (Colgems) Halloween

Although Colgems did not produce any Halloween-type records, you could pretty much place a safe bet on the fact that the Monkees merchandising machine would try to get all the kids to dress up like their heroes (at least Davy and Micky).

Thanks to all of you who have enjoyed the Lewis and Clarke Expedition LP! I have received many emails, and they have all been positive.

I have also been in contact with someone who works on compilations with various labels, who has been lobbying for this LP to be released legitimately. Let's hope that my posting of this record opens up some label executives' eyes about how good it really is!

The Lewis and Clarke Expedition LP

I am personally looking for their non-Colgems cuts which turned up in a few films, "The Tiger Makes Out" and "For Singles Only." Let me know if you have any of them.

During the past few months, so many people have emailed me with the question, "How can I find such and such Colgems song," or wanting further information about the Colgems label.
