Colgems Artist-Peter Kastner
Peter Kastner was one of those numerous up and coming young actors who came of age in the mid to late 1960s. He starred in several films, including one of Francis Ford Copolla's earliest legitimate efforts, "You're a Big Boy Now," as well as the hip "B.S. I Love You."
He had extensive TV work on a number of soap operas, and as the star of the outlandish, short lived "The Ugliest Girl in Town," about a cross-dressing model making it in Swinging London.
He later went on to become a successful director.
Kastner recorded a few sides for Colgems, and while they weren't successful, they are highly listenable, like "I Just Can't Get Over You," which is included at the link below.
(By the way, in the photo, Kastner is in the middle.)

The link takes you to the song from Oliver instead of Kastner.

I've changed it. Give it a little time and it should show up.

Thanks, Larry--for fixing the link and sharing a great song!

Now I know why it this sounds so much like a Keith ("98.6") record--it was written by the same pair that penned by "You'll Come Running Back To Me" for Keith's LP, 98.6/Ain't Gonna Lie: George Fischoff and Carole Bayer.
Additionally, Fischoff wrote Keith's first two Top 40 releases which were...(big surprise here)..."Ain't Gonna Lie" and "98.6."
Do you know who produced Peter Kastner's record? If it was Jerry Ross, then they recognized the vocal similarities between Kastner and Keith as that was the latter's producer for those previously mentioned tracks.

Dan-
I have no idea who produced the record. Unfortunately, I don't own the record, only the MP3 file. Maybe someone else can help us out here.
